Program Summary

A comprehensive 3-phase innovation journey designed to transform students into tomorrow's technology leaders

Implementation Period

3 workshop sessions & 3 carnival sessions consisting of:

Phase 1: Learning & Assessment

Online assessment and learning of Tinkercode programming and TinkerKit. Registration is group-based (3 students per group). Each group submits a PowerPoint presentation about their innovation project proposal.

Open to: All primary and secondary school students

Phase 2: Development (100 Groups)

Shortlisted participants receive TinkerKit learning sets mailed to schools. RM150/group funding provided. 2-day program at UTM conducted in 2 sessions (50 groups each).

Awards: 5 winning groups each for primary and secondary schools per session

Phase 3: AI Enhancement (40 Groups)

Selected groups enhance innovations using Raspberry Pi kits for AI automation control adaptation. Advanced prototyping and demonstration phase.

• Secondary School Students and Teachers (Forms 1-4)
• Primary School Students (Standards 5-6)

• Workshops and training (IoT, AI, electronics and engineering)

Program Objectives

Provide exposure and enhance understanding of STEM learning and technology, electronics, AI and IoT through Design Thinking Skills approach

Guide participants in developing innovation prototypes based on real problem-solving in society

Support development of highly skilled human capital in line with Industrial Revolution 4.0 and SDG 4: Quality Education

This program aims to produce an innovative and competitive generation in technology and strengthen the relationship between universities and communities in developing technology that impacts society.
